Is Blogger trying to tell me something?

I have tried four times to post a picture of my gorgeous granddaughter - and twice - er three times - to change the font. Blogger tells me it has saved the changes - but it hasn't. This reinforces my naturally Luddite tendencies.

Changing the subject - I have finished sewing leaves into plastic pockets. I think. I have done 99 and may make it 100, because I like round numbers -assuming I have counted them correctly. For anyone interested in the technicalities of sewing leaves into plastic - I used Robison Anton gold thread and it was wonderful - very little breakage, which is unusual for a metallic. And unfortunately cheap plastic pockets don't work, you need the thick ones.

We have a social day tomorrow - meeting the other grandparents for a vintage bus outing - and then I will start thinking seriously about how to fasten the leaves together - and what to hang them off.

What I did this afternoon

Overcome with excitement, I have decided to post a scan of what I did this afternoon. You [my non-existent readers] may wonder who in their right mind spends an afternoon sewing skeleton leaves into plastic pockets. [Some of them had added glitter.]

Welcome to the crazy world of the C&G embroidery student.

The intention is that eventually they will be come a metre long embroidery. First I have to work out how to join the [cut out] leaves together again.

Sanity? What's that?

P.S I will add the scan when Blogger lets me ...

my first post

So in a moment of madness [I have only had half a glass of wine so I can't use drunkenness as an excuse], I have started a blog. I can't remember to write in a diary every day so why I think I will keep it up to date I don't know. And I have no idea what I will put in it, although I have a suspicion embroidery will appear.
