Another image from the Hillier Gardens. This is witch hazel - a tiny flower, only noticeable because there were no leaves to hide it. Although the photo was taken mid afternoon there was still frost on the blossom. [It's much warmer today, I'm glad to say.]It reminds me of tiny tassels, particularly a knotted type we were taught on C&G. Perhaps an experiment is called for?
I do have some work in progress but no photos because it's a a birthday present. There are three upcoming birthdays in the Cheshire/Cheddar families - but I am not saying who this present is for ... [Could be for me!]
