Well – the interview is over …

and quite nerve-wracking it was. I think it’s worse being interviewed by someone you know, and you will have to meet again, than a stranger you may never see again.

They started by taking the portfolio away to look at – at which point I thought ‘Wish I hadn’t included the mammoth History of British Embroidery, don’t want to bore them to death’  – but as nice things were said about it , good job I did. Positive comments were also made about my work showing links between the traditional and the conceptual. I managed to resist the temptation to say - ‘Does it?’.

My Banksy inspired sketchbook seemed to go down well – so thanks to Mr & Mrs C for taking us!

I should hear in a week – so fingers crossed. I’m off now to relax in the bath before we go out again for some much needed R&R.

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow – with any luck.

'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know what the interview is for. I wait with bated breath...
