Work expands to fit the time available

but unfortunately embroidery doesn't, so not much has been done today apart from shopping and cooking.

Tomorrow is degree day, but although you might think that means some stitching – the supply list makes no mention of needle and thread. Just paint, paper, pencils, ink, twigs, feathers, toothbrushes – you get the picture. [If you don’t – it’s the first session of ‘Drawing Studies’.]

Might get some embroidery done on Thursday though.Top-11.BMP

Here's a bit of photo manipulation – a genuine Gormley this time. Can’t remember what I did to him to turn him blue, though possibly standing up to his whatsits in the Irish Sea twice a day had that effect?

[I initially typed ‘wahtsits’ – and Livewriter's spell-check wanted to change it to ‘wetsuits’. Kind of appropriate, no?]

Will report back on my first day at school tomorrow – if I’m not too knackered …
